SOLAR! is a fun and innovative way to introduce emergy to a large audience, including kids, using the comic technique.
The sun – and one of his offspring, called Ray, a forward-looking professor, Mudo Draw, and its main invention, the Macroscope, will be helped by four young students in fighting against dark enemies who threaten the entire world.
Thanks to the intelligence and artistic ability of an amazing comic author, Lorenzo Palloni, who was awarded in 2019 the Gran Guinigi as the best screenwriter in Italy during the Lucca Comics Festival, the ideation of Simone Bastianoni and Federico M. Pulselli, the technical supervision and editing of Matteo Maccanti (members of the Ecodynamics Group at the University of Siena and the ISAER), and the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation, a thrilling story was created, in which the importance of the work of nature and the scientific foundations of emergy emerge at the same time.
